He has worked and traveled through the Middle East and Central Asia, and has an understanding of the unique opportunities and complexities of doing business in these areas. He received his MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and his A.B. in economics from Princeton University.

Robert Foster — Advisor
Robert Foster has worked since 1984 in the international renewable energy development field focused on technology, energy access and market development in over three dozen countries. He is a Senior Program Officer with the Winrock International Clean Energy Group. He’s the technical advisor for the USAID Power Africa Program, and leading support for the USAID Powering Agriculture Energy Grand Challenge. He retired from the New Mexico State University College of Engineering in 2014 after 25 years of service, working extensively with USAID and the DOE during his time. Robert has conducted over 250 trainings and technology courses in 36 countries for over 10,000 engineers, technicians, and investors on renewable energy development, often in Spanish and Portuguese. Robert Foster earned a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a MBA from NMSU. He has co-authored 3 books, published over 150 papers/articles, and written over 100 technical and market reports on renewable energy.
